I’m here in Cape Town from San Francisco for 5 more days and would love to go dancing while here. Is there any Cuban salsa dancing going on? If not, what about other styles of salsa or bachata?

We are terribly sorry for the very late reply, we have had an extremely busy November/December period!
The new courses start from the 19th January 2016. Beginners Salsa is on Tuesdays at 8pm in Town or Wednesdays at 7.30pm in Plumstead and costs R350 per person per month or R500 per couple per month.
Private lessons are available over December by pre-booking. The cost is R300 per hour.
Hi Gabriella, there is a new beginners Kizomba course starting 3rd March at 8pm at 112 Loop street. You are more than welcome to come to the first night and see if you want to do the rest of the course. One class only is R90 per person, the course is only R350 per person or less depending on how many people you bring with you. 🙂

Cape Town mostly does LA Style salsa and Bachata Moderne. The socials this weekend are as follows:

Sunday Nights:
DJ Nikos hosts: Buena Vista Social Cafe (Portswood rd, V&A Waterfront)
